To be fair, most of the important skills come from "easy" to get units like Jagen, Gunter and Eliwood who are all obtainable at 3 stars. Unless he started played recently or has some insanely bad luck, he should have at least a couple of units to pass skills.

It's entirely possible, though rare, to be missing key components such as Odin, or even Jagen. I for one have 1 Robin for Bonfire (I'm glad I haven't used him yet), and 1 Jagen but Lonq, and Hinata evade me quite well. What can I do I'm already out of orbs.

Fury is great all around, it's really only less than ideal on units that have high HP triggered skills like wary fighter or -breaker skills, or units like Thundercock and Hana who really don't have any other useful stats besides attack or speed.

Yeah Wary Fighter and those kinda things does mess it up, but even then I think the fact that Fury and QR work for certain heroes like Xander or Titty Tiki who are too damn slow even with buffs and just want that initial punch to snowball the advantage in your team's favor shows just how great it is. But then again there's also examples of Life and Death improving certain Heroes' survival rates simply due to the increase in speed despite the -5 in defense and res, so maybe I'm over thinking it.

Well, Fury is available at 4* though, ain't nobody got 4* LnD. I think only Reposition would be able to compete with Fury on overall general usage, or maybe Hone Attack.

Fairly generic, but there's not really anything wrong with that. My Xander has pretty much the exact same skillset with ward instead of goad, and Reposition as his green. Drag back or reposition are great on cavs, if you're looking for another skill

Maybe this is common knowledge by now, but I noticed that I get a higher score if I surrender with my entire team alive in the last map and make a new team, I was only able to complete the trial to the end with a single team once, but I ended up with shitty survivability and shitty speed, and while only one unit survived in that run, the speed was about the same in every other, and I use Robin in all my runs, so there was no score bonus difference.

Did anyone else notice this? Maybe you can get a better score if you can keep everyone alive, but I don't have the units to do that. I'm just surrendering in the last map and changing my team according to the enemy team now.

I use a healer regardless. She can still do some shit and it lets me be a lot more aggressive. But it is shitty that speed is a good 100 points or so, especially when you get that shitty mountain map that can take several turns to even begin enemy movement.

I do like this new update. Actually makes me want to play the game when I have 99 stamina instead of just getting my 2 orbs and shutting it down again.

Update is flawed though, but neat that they reward us with characters.

My Lilina has been godly during the Tempest Trials. Swordbreaker is really useful because of all the swords the game throws at you, and oneshotting everything means I can stay at full health instead if in Desperation mode to tank a hit or two.
Tharja or Sanaki would probably be better for the final stage though, Lilina gets doubled by Veronica, and mine is -Res, so Bonfire ends up killing her.

How much does an average run on the tempest penultimate level yield? I can beat the hardest stratum most of the times but it seems to be very RNG reliant on the teams I end up facing, sometimes I can get 600 points, sometimes end up getting only 400. I wonder if doing the penultimate stratum in a more consistent manner will yield more points in the end, anyone have any idea?

But they're good tho. If you mix it with quickened pulse, and a killer it has the same trigger rate as bonfire. Also it lowers the health of an enemy before battle so it's not even counting if it can double someone. Blazing is also perfect for high attack since it has a multiplier by 1.5 of your base attack, completely ignoring the weapon triangle.
They're pretty underrated if you ask me.

I like Lukas, with Bonfire and QR, he can tank physical hits like a champ, taking no damage and killing swords and lances in return while he can chip off damage from axes and not die too. Sucks that he dies to anything magic though. Alternatively you can setup memes of mercy and cockblock anyone unsuspecting of a teleporting lance in arena.

If you have something that can bait the cavalry mage at the start, you're well on your way to an almost easy victory.

Bonus points if you can destroy them on the followup too.

From there, the biggest threat is probably a suped up Hector that's gonna put your melee unit in range of the others, or outright murder your mage if you didn't prime a special to OHK him.

Thankfully, tinyhands are far more common than him.

It's not because it's bad, it's because Lucina can be a serviceable healer with Renewal and Ardent Sacrifice/Reciprocal Aid, especially in the Tempest Trials.
I made my Titania into a healer, much more useful than I expected, I can imagine Lucina being even better.

Cmon lets not get over ourselves. If you can reach level 7 consistently (and die there) in around 5 - 7 minutes per run and with 300 stam per day to spend you have to spend barely 2 hours a day where you get a minumim of 3600 points. And thats without bonus units and actually winning 7/7. The event lasts 13 days so everyone should be able to get around 30-40k points without any problem.

So how many units did you snipe so far?

I sniped Nowi (got 2 within one summon from zephiel banner) 3 times with 50 orbs. Got Celica and young tiki with my first summon in their banners and got Hector and Ryouma withing 50 orbs each fromt he Hero fest banner

On the other hand i blew 100 orbs on Ninian and didnt get her.

If i compare the summon rates to other gacha shit this seems pretty good.
