When was the last time you got stuck in a video game?
>>379577417
i would've just told them to break my legs, like after a few hours you must know its the only way out.
>>379577417

Wow that was hard.

>>379577417
I don't understand why anyone would do this. That would be a horrifying way to die.
>>379578195
Tubes.
Got stuck in a fucking escort mission in Dark Messiah
Couldn't do it despite numerous tries. Rustled my jimmies a lot
>>379577417
I already know that this thread is going to derail, but I got stuck in XCOM 2, when you're taken to headquarters after the first tutorial fight. I could not for the life of me figure out how to leave the ship, and nothing useful on google, steam discussions, or
Seems like a real fun game, too
>>379578195
could always just shove it up his ass
>>379578260
He died so that we don't have to. Now I'll definitely never dive head-first into a tight hole in a tight cave with no way to get back up, turn around, use my arms, or maneuver in any way. NOW we know that's a bad idea
>Tiny fucking hole
>In a fucking cave
>"Gee, I better forcefully stuff my body into that!"

Have you ever faced a vidya situation where the only possible end is a gruesome and violent fight?
>>379578665
No he died.
>>379578646
This is the worst hobby ever Every single one of these people should be executed.

They literally sealed where he died.

When was the last time you got derailed in a video game?
>>379578634
I went skydiving before, but caves are just too nope for me.
>>379577417
I once spent 8 minutes in Bayonetta, just to jump over a wall.
I've been stuck on the nameless king boss fight for about two days now
I refuse to do anything else before I killed this nigger, he is so fucking annoying
>>379577417
Just yesterday.
Bought X3 to satisfy my space autism, still aimlessly drift through space, searching for somewhat lucrative trade routes.
Just learning to play this game is like learning a programming language.

>>379577417
I am still stuck on resonance of fate, no idea if the game is actually really hard or if I just suck, 10/10 fashion tho
>>379579018
I know I'm underleveled because I'm only level 90
I'm probably just extremely tilted from it that's why it's taking me so long
>>379578773
>managed to get him out
>literally dropped him so he plopped into the hole again
Fucking burgers man, what a shitty way to go.
abzu lol i didn't know where i could make the robot make a hole in the sea honeycomb. the game is not very good. it looks cool but that's it
>>379577417
whats even the draw into going into these caves, isn't there absolutely nothing in there like its not like they are searching for rare things or anything so why?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m3N_BnVdOI
>>379579160
Him and midir were the hardest for me. Don't discouraged. I fought him at level 80. It just took me around 30 tries
>>379579279
>I am dumb so the game is not good.
>>379577417
>When was the last time you got stuck in a video game?
Half-Life 1. Went down the wrong hallway, now a door is locked after I killed a boss and the game can't be finished. I can use the console to collision detection off and bypass it but I have to set it up first and can't be bothered.
>>379579403
haha, what is good about the game? i might be dumb
>go caving, they said
>it'll be fun, they said
>>379579291
whats even the draw in going to the moon, isn't there absolutely nothing up there like its not like they are searching for rare things or anything so why?
>>379579414
Is that the tram part, I had this issue and just ended up playing it through again like a year later
>inject his legs with enough painkillers to make an elephant feel numb
>dislocate his legs and pull him out, not having to worry about twisting his legs the wrong way
>correct the dislocation after he's out
>>379578602
>doesn't want to stick himself in tiny holes
are you a woman?
Last time I can remember was Dark Souls 2. It just never occurred to me to try and revisit those giants in FotfG with the Mist Heart.
>>379579519
>Nutty Putty
>>379579585
>Is that the tram part, I had this issue and just ended up playing it through again like a year later
I took a tram, then killed a giant monster in a big room. There was two paths from there, I went one way which was apparently wrong because when I went back the other path had a gate shut down. So I couldn't go pull a switch to turn on another tram.

I guess the believe they'll find something interesting, like those crazy crystal caves but really its just a rock hole in the ground. Atleast they save money on digging a grave

It was his hole.

sure they can break your legs, but now you're upside down with blood running to your head and with serious injuries, far from help, and a long time still from rescue. you could die from this easily.
I am NEVER going into them caves
That image fucking triggered me. Thanks OP.
Is that image actually of the guy who died in the Nutty Putty Cave? I've seen an infographic and it made it seem like he was stuck deeper into a small tunnel instead of half of his body sticking out.
Last night, sort of stuck on the last boss in TiTS. But that's because I was so drugged up from my wisdom teeth removal. How easy is it really
>>379583746
No. date on image shows 1/1 2009. 11/24 is when the guy got stuck and died. It's also not the right kind of cave area.
I got stuck in Tomb Raider 3 in the London section recently.
STOP TALKING ABOUT THE IMAGE
OP HERE, I DIDNT USE THIS OFF-TOPIC IMAGE TO START AN OFF-TOPIC THREAD!!! THAT IS NOT!!! THE CASE
THIS THREAD IS 100% ABOUT VIDEO GAMES
DO NOT TRY TO REPORT THIS THREAD!
>>379578517
Holy shit orbits are on my sides.
You know I hear underwater caves are a great place to hide treasure.
>>379578470
For real, how did he get stuck? I mean, he fitted on the way in, literally just retrace your movements back dude

That picture is terrifying. I do not understand how people go spelunking like that
>>379577796
you got stuck in a multiplayer FPS ?
Some escort mission in syphon filter in catacombs. I went back to it and finished it but I stopped playing the game on the next level and never finished it
>>379578732
they do a pretty good job at killing themselves, don't worry
>>379577417
Not sure if games with permadeath count but Tales of Maj'Eyal. Never beat the game since I lose all lives before I even reach the final boss.
>>379579519
What a horrible, horrible way to die.
I think I'm going to be sick.
Imagine getting stuck in one of those holes upside down and noone can hear you.
I cant imagine a worse way to die.
>>379591137
I'd rather be burned alive than die spelunking like that. Fucking sickening.
>>379579231
I know, I can't imagine the suffering of thinking you're free only to die in the exact same position that you were in before.
>never been very claustrophobic
>this thread
>>379591327
Of you're burned at least it's over quickly. Provided that you can breath, you'd be stuck like that for a long time. Probably end up at least pissing yourself, while you slowly wait to die of thirst.
Maybe with your head upside down like that you'd faint before the worst of it, but in the pick it's at an angle so maybe not.
>>379577417
I've been playing the witness and ever time I run into these puzzles that have little squares on them in various shapes I just close out of them and leave because I have no idea what they mean.
>>379587330
It was at a 70-80 degree angle downwards and his body had spun around, meaning his knees couldn't bend the correct way to move move back through the cave's curves. The space was so confined he couldn't even breathe correctly, let alone spin his body around.
>>379578260
Misplaced sense of adventure. I mean I kinda get the appeal, wanting to do something no one else has done/go somewhere no one else has been. It's just too bad these people fucked up and fucked with the wrong hole. But you can't fault them for wanting to live their lives instead of just sitting in front of the tv with their couch growing out of their ass.
>>379590819he died
>>379590891

>>379577417
Did he died?
Someone please explain the reasoning behind doing this shit? Do these people have some weird fetish for dying like that?
1 little earthquake, even in a wide cave, will end you.
Just don't see why, maybe its like >>379577796 said.
I was stuck in 2k mmr in Dota for 4 years before I stopped playing.
>Do almost everything caving guided tell you not to
Very little sympathy just like that fool who got his arm caught under a boulder because he told as few people as possible where he was going
>>379590819
Your supposed to go feet first to avoid this exact situation
RE7. I spend a fuckload of time trying to find a treasure on a photo before I gave up and googled it and it turned out it was in a place I've yet to visit.
>>379590962
>Wanted MGS1
>Mom bought Syphon Filter instead
>Too retarded to get past second level without cheat codes
In retrospect I suppose getting MGS wouldn't have made a difference
>>379577417
Why werent they just using explosives :^)
Couldn't they use an IV to keep the guys blood pressure up for a while they chip away at the surrounding rock?
>>379599976
Acid works better, duh.
