I'd probably watch a lot more movies, tv shows, anime, and music. Instead I put them off because I play videogames all day. And the worst bit is I get stuck playing shitty multiplayer so I have an evergrowing backlog of videogames. And then you add in the fact of how distracting shitposting and the internet can be...I honestly don't think I'll ever clear all of my backlog...at least not without speedrunning through everything which at that point I won't even enjoy it, I'll just be doing it to say I played/watched/heard it...which kinda defeats the purpose.

Same here. Plus, more outside activities. Only thing gaming really did, was to keep me inside more and keep me from reading books.

Mostly because most games I play are fucking long, and I'm not the kind of person who can simply stop a story in the middle and pick it up again in some weeks. I need to see that shit through. Even if its something huge like TW3.

And once that's done, there's another game waiting for me to finish it.

Video games are honestly shit. They're nothing but a time sink, not productive whatsoever. They make you lazy. I haven't seen a single person who's passionate about video games who has discipline. Video games are just garbage busy work. I am deeply ashamed that i'm playing them so much.

If video games were my only hobby, or the hobby i'm most passionate about i'd probably kill myself.
