7.1.5 gutting Momentum Havoc and replacing it with literally whack a mole with Nemesis.

Momentum Havoc was one of the most interesting things they had done in years. It was a blast and I'm so fucking salty they ruined it in favor of making it play like any old keyboard DDR class.

You barely find any Tank because they seperated the playerbase with AP and too many different difficulties.

rng made me drop my main character. there is nothing worse than going trough a dungeon dozens of times in hope that an item drops that is powered up so it's actually useful.
ap grind kept me from leveling alt characters and still does.

I'm not a top 10 guild, so there's no need to stress out about having the absolute highest leveled artifact weapon.

Worst part is that the legendary that drops can be one of about 10 different ones and some are significantly better than others. This can be a massive problem for progression dps who's bottom line is who can do the most damage.

I really hope they do something about leveling pace/scaling. It's really stupid that you outlevel zones before you're even halfway through them - and that's without dungeon spamming and heirlooms.

It worked alright. I think some classes got more personality than others. If you want a good example DH's are obviously oozing class fantasy. DKs have a lot of it too (Stuff like an AOE spell where a frost wyrm divebombs the fight)

Class fantasy is essentially trying to have every class play differently through unique core combat mechanic. On some classes, the uniqueness works (Spriest), and on some its just a builder spender mechanic or somesuch (BM). Are Windwalkers actually any good?

I want to go back to when everyone had to actually consciously manage their threat. Tanks especially. Blizzard can't make tanking rewarding and fun anymore because they got rid of the need to manage threat. Tanks used to have to make decisions on the fly and prioritize which mobs need to be looked after and which don't. I have multiple friends who have stopped playing tank specs because it's just so fucking boring now. You might as well be playing a dps spec with a few extra defensive cooldowns.

Game was designed by geniuses then handed off to maintenance by the active expansion team.

Alternatively, everyone thought we were getting a Reaper of Souls styled wow expansion, and instead we got fucking vanilla D3: complete with endless fucking grinding for legendaries that don't drop where the great majority of them are useless and the ability to convert in-game money to battle.net balance.

Titanforging was a mistake and needing some cap that only lets an item upgrade to the next difficulty tier rather than balancing Mythic content around people having full titanforged Heroic sets.

Mythic+ is a disaster at this point but I can't blame them since it's pretty much a brand new idea (end game content for 5 mans) so they're working the kinks out of it. It's more effort for less reward than heroic raiding though, which I really don't understand. The changes coming in 7.2.5 are just making it worse.

I can't even imagine being a new player coming into this expansion late.

No third relic slot for like a week, no second legendary slot for a few weeks
You'd have no Artifact Knowledge and have to grind literally tens of thousands of OR to get it to 25 so you can wait 2 months to get it up to 40
You're still at the beck and whim of the shitty, awful fucking legendary system only you haven't been playing for half a year to equalize it by having almost every possible drop.

I'm more pointing to the massively reduced drop rate on legendaries from M+, as well as that a 2 hour raid is gonna see like 60 pieces of gear drop for 20 people as opposed to 2 hours of M+ being 6-10 pieces of loot for 5 people.

I'd rather they just made the 5 mans drop more loot each clear with some kind of a weekly cap. The M+ chest is an awful idea since it's -entirely- random and aside from badly statted relics, I've never gotten anything decent from it, nor do I know anyone that has. The fact that it gives you a piece of baseline loot, rolls to see if it can titanforge past 905, then just titanforges it UP to 905 if it didn't roll over that, is such an insanely stupid idea.

The first two legendaries you get have an accelerated drop rate, and Blizzard massively increased the drop rate after that in 7.2. In 7.0 and 7.1 after your first two, you'd get one maybe every 45 days.
This lead to people in Mythic guilds being required to level 5 of the same class and multibox them all while doing their shit so they could play the one that actually go legendaries, and people rerolling new characters of the same class to reset their legendary RNG.

Shit was fucking retarded from the outset and it's still fucking retarded. I quit in late Febuary and had a grand total of 3, despite being 7/10 Mythic NH and 54 traits.

Well yes, it's always been like this, expect now you can get to 905 from doing m+ alone, you don't need high ilvl for bgs that give you free 880 gear, you get free gear from lfr.
Maybe the only slow creep is getting from 890 to 900.
Back in tbc you needed a guild for "endgame gear" and ingame friends that knew you were good for arena/ heroics. Most people didn't even get near endgame gear back then, now it's trivial.

Somewhere at the end of Mists of Pandaria Blizzard decided that instead of balancing Normal and Heroic Flexes they'd add another fucking difficulty where you had to bring exactly 20 people.
So now you got four fucking raid difficulties; LFR, Normal Flex, Heroic Flex, and Mythic 20. And each difficulty either adds or removes mechanics depending how far up or down the ladder you go.
It's a mess, they really need to scrap one of the difficulties entirely.

I didn't like the artifact weapon, I didn't like the AP attached to the artifact weapon, I didn't like the fucking grindiness of the expansion and how everything was timegated and holding the player back, I didn't like the stupid fucking reputation with the highborne, I didn't like the fact that a single legendary could affect someone's performance so vastly that they pretty much became required for certain specs. And I especially didn't like it when they literally downgraded the gameplay for multiple classes even further than they did in WoD.

I quit after the first month. There's a lot I didn't like, but these are just the things that come to mind. I don't know how different it is now, but it just wasn't fun after the first few weeks and that was enough for me to get the fuck out and quit, again. I know WoW is a MMO and it's gonna have annoying grindy shit like this, but this expansion feels more chore-like than usual, and that fucking sucks. The only thing I'm happy about when I read or watch things about WoW is that fury warrior is performing well now.

To be quite honest with you, I wish I never discovered this game, or MMOs in general. I could have spent more time playing worthwhile games that didn't feel like a job.

Imagine if you will, WoW is a house.

The foundation, though solid before in Panda and even Finish if We Have Manpower expansions, has been replaced with glowing green human excrement.

The overall content itself is a wonderful fel green palace with a garage PvP addition that took tornado damage and has yet to be fixed.

Which is great, except every time you go to admire the inside of this palace, you're reminded by the stench, holes, and fucked up floor balancing by the bad foundation.

The foundation effects everything. The foundation of Legion is shitty AP grinding, AK time gating, power cock blocking via locked 3rd relic slot / ilvl you get from having 3rd relic, RNG legendaries, RNG ilvl on gear, a second RNG ilvl on gear, and a RNG slot on gear.

Remove the artifacts and make gear work like the older times and suddenly Legion would become a pretty good expansion with content for literally everyone.

I'm playing a Fury Warrior over the most recent month. It's okay. I am liking the noticeable dps increase as my gear gets better. I have gotten lucky and got my best legendary to drop as well as my best trinket from LFR. I am Revered with Nightfallen but cannot be fucked to constantly grind Ancient Mana to get anywhere meaningful or get the rep grind completed quickly.

Also leveling a druid on the side. I am solely questing and Feral is fun for questing but on the few occasions I enter a dungeon, I feel useless due to little AoE.
