Why did this feel like the most genuine Fire Emblem game plot-wise since the Tellius games, lads?

There was not a single act of retardation by characters for the sake of plot, and every development was done within reason, the characters except maybe Jedah (Fire Emblem rarely has fleshed out villains anyways so that was excuseable) actually feeling like fleshed out characters rather than one or two tropes and calling it a day

Shit I want more FE games like this one that's for sure

Is it just me, or is the RNG EXTREAMLY fucky in this game? This isn't my first FE, but I've never missed this many 90+ chances to hit, and I've never landed this many under 60 percent hits either. Meanwhile, units consistently crit with some ~10 percent chance to.
I've mila's turnwheeled 8 times trying to get a 30 percent chance crit on a guy and every single time other than the first she would miss the first attack, get hit with a 55 percent chance mire, and land the second. The first time she doubled but it wasn't enough.

For some reason, if you rewind for just one action and move the same character, the RNG doesn't reset. You have to rewind two actions and move someone else first, I think.

It uses Single RNG to stay true to Gaiden.

In many newer FE games, the RNG actually rolls twice and averages the results. What this means for the player is that high numbers have a much higher chance to hit than the displayed number and low numbers will almost never hit. It's an anti-frustration feature to protect the player from "bullshit" 10% hits or 90% misses when in reality 1/10 is not statistically insignificant with how many rolls take place in a FE map.

With Single RNG, that 90% chance will actually miss one in ten times. You attack much more often than ten times per map. You're gonna get misses.

Personally, I don't mind single RNG. My units have been shitting out crits left and right.
