I tried playing GTA SA back in it's PS2 glory and honestly I couldn't bear to play it honestly

The low draw distance and the fps was simply off putting considering how much I played the PC version

Roller Coaster Tycoon, Fallout 2, Sam & Max Hit The Road, Deus Ex, and probably a few others are heavy hitters in their respective genres and could enter an argument for some of the best games ever, and they're PC only.

Dues Ex was on PS2 as well. Roller Coaster Tycoon was ported to OG Xbox as well.

PC is the ultimate archival machine though. You can literally experience gaming from cradle to the present through emulation and judicial port selection. Since it is infinitely more reliable to get older PC games working on modern technology than crossing your fingers and hoping that a mega-corporation finds a way to resell you classic games, future generations will think of Nier Automata, Bayonetta, and many other games as PC titles.

I'm the opposite, OP. Rebought a PS4 (went pro this time since I also nabbed an OLED 4K tv) this January and barely use it. While on PC, I've been super busy with a grand mix of strategy games, simulation racing titles, and a few quality ports thrown in.

PS4 has only been used for Yakuza Zero. I played P5 on PS3.
