Bubsy 1 was quite good, and everyone who's actually played it for more than 10 minutes knows this. It's hardcore as fuck but the level variety is amazing and the platforming not half bad either. It's basically Sonic for people who want to do more than hold right and win.

First Bubsy, while not a masterpiece, is still playable and alright game. It's literally a meme at this point to be like "Eugh, Bubsy has always sucked, brah". The only truly terrible Bubsy game was Bubsy 3D.
