how's the heat treating your rig?
speccy thread
>>379542489
What heat? It's pissing down, you cunt.
I think my pc is on fire
Heat isn't ever any higher than 60. usually for my GPU
>install ryzen 1700x
>speccy doesn't detect its temps
it hovers around 40c, tho
>>379542549
what did he mean by this?
r8 my mid-range build? First time building a PC.
>>379542889
>current fucking year
>still fucking buying amd cpu's
sometimes I feel some of you should never reproduce
>GPU can get around 70-75 ÂșC
Still well below dangerous levels, but i'm not used to seeing those numbers
>>379542489
It chills around 60 C on idle and i have no idea why, i dont have many background processes running.
>>379542926
It's raining heavily, you fool.
>>379543379
where in europe? fuck off foreigner
>>379542889
because speccy a shit. l2coretemp
>>379542489
eh kinda toasty. Did remind me to look into an aftermarket fan
>>379543378
you may need to change your automatic fan speed settings through afterburner or a similar program. Your GPU is definitely quiet, but it's running warmer
>>379542889
>>379543189
THIS!!!!!! ^
Stop being dumb with your money and buy a i9 Intel CPU like us.
Just moved from Cleveland to Monterey, California
Temps are always like 62-68 and sunny
Pretty damn peaceful. But my apartment doesn't have AC so come August I'm sure I'll need to buy a portable unit.
>>379543298
I've been having that for months now but honestly I think I should replace my shitty i7 stock cooler that's like 5 years old with a new one. But I'm such a cowardly faggot with replacing coolers for some reason.
>that friend who panics about temps over 60c
If you're going to upgrade in less than 10 years there is no reason to coddle your parts
I ran an 8800GTS at 90c+ for 5 years before it had issues
Even your CPU has failsafes for overheating so it won't be damaged, but if your CPU is even getting near the shutdown temp you fucked something up
Just built this last Friday. Used my old GPU from my recent pc for the time being. Replacing the RX 480 with a 1080 ti next Friday. FeelsGoodMan
heres wall
>>379543378
my 1080gtx idled at like 50 before I messed with the fan speeds on afterburner. Seems like it ships with retardedly low fan speed for the sake of seeming more quiet.
>>379545342
you just wanted a chance to post your shitty wallpaper even if nobody asked for it
>>379545559
best girl though

Who gives a shit?
>>379545253

>>379545342

>>379546201
>tfw your guts are an uncoordinated mess and the case cant be closed because the 1070 is too fucking big
Meh i dont care. It runs great. And I have some LEDs in there plus the msi lit up to fool normies into thinking its cool
>>379546442
>tfw you have a rig that's close to $2000 and it's filled with dust and cobwebs because you don't give a fuck
I can still run everything maxed out at 100+fps unless it was optimized like shit
>>379545342
balls deep mating press
>tfw still have 10000rpm WD Raptor
do they even make these fucking things anymore?
Pretty good. Replaced one of my fans and reapplied paste 5 months ago.
Built my PC 3 years ago. Will upgrade next year.
>>379546201
>>379546906
>>379545230
Aren't you lucky. My 8800 gts shit itself after only a few years. The gpu doesn't even need to overheat to crap itself. Had a radeon 7850 crap itself without warning after 5 years, no overheating issues. Had lifetime warranty, RMA card just shit itself the same way after a little over a year.
>>379547158
I've owned a gaming rig for 11 years now and I've only had a single part ever fail on me.
My SSD that wasn't even 11 months old shorted out on me and died
>>379546551
Yea I mean honestly, I bought the rig pre-built on a sale and cheaped out on the case.
Until I have a legit career and money in my bank I aint making shit aesthetic
>>379545660
>sagiri best grill
gtfo you fucking pleb
>>379547010
specs?
>>379546223
Me but I'm starting to wish I got an i5 when I built my PC a few years ago
>i3 4150
>8GB RAM
>R9 280
It runs everything pretty well but it the CPU is definitely holds me back a little, my mobo supports overclocking though so maybe I'll get a fancyi5some time.
>>379542489
Post that wallpaper please.
>SSD hotter than CPU
>>379548553
Ignore me asking for wall, I didn't even scroll through the thread until a second ago.
