I too have fond memories of the first Bubsy on SNES. It's a tad annoying it's only known for the meme bollocks now, but I guess Bubsy 3D was bad enough it deserves it.
The theme park levels in Bubsy were my shit, had my bros input the cheat code so we could skip straight to it. I genuinely quite liked Bubsy 1.
