The first part of what you said isn't true, the second part is true of all mmos and seems to be what vg is like for everything.

the game is okay, it's a themepark mmo. so don't expect anything deep. don't expect fun builds either, because builds dont exist.

It's boring because there's 0 customization stat/skill wise. It's basically beat a couple of shitty dungeons, kill a primal until you get a weapon, grind welfare gear/upgrades, do a noobie raid that is somewhat interesting the first 2 times. If you don't like weaboo shit and are too lazy to dedicate time to or find an actually decent raid group it stagnates.

Fun is subjective, but they put in more incentives in-game to help newbies than the other usual MMOs.
