I just finished the tlou on ps4 and I'm really wondering what all the hype was about. It looked good visually and the voice acting was decent but holy shit it was generic stealth gameplay. The story, which I had heard was the gold standard of vidya storytelling wasn't all that original or good. I heard from more than one person that it was the greatest gaming experience of their life.

I miss old Naughty Dog.

Always overrated. I liked insomniac more during ps1 and ps2 but crash and jak were still respectable. Hated uncharted but last of us was ok not great though.

It produced the best multiplayer mode on last gen for TLOU, so they can't be that bad

Fucking amazing, or at least they used to be.

Easily one of the best in the industry until Neil Druckmann took the diversity pill and ruined Uncharted 4 with his Strong, Powerful Woman. Because idk I guess Elena and Chloe were weak or something. I'm nervous for TLOU 2 if his direction suffers that badly because of politics again. It's a shame too because there's a lot of talent (including Neil himself) at ND and its all going to waste. I miss you Amy Hennig.

underrated, forever, because they're aligned with Sony. If they were an in-house Nintendo dev, they'd get all the girls.
