Retarded story, even more retarded characters but good combat/leveling/job system and good amount of content and secrets.

I don't know why they didn't stick with this gameplay system for long, it's probably one of the best in the whole series.

Nose isn't even an erogenous zone for fuck's sake. Put the hooks in the vagina if you have to put them somewhere.

It was a good first try at a modernization of the job class system. By about halfway through the game I realized how much better some classes were than others, though. They should have done something like FFV where you can move mastered skills over to a "freelancer" class. Would have made more incentive to play different characters instead of running Alchemist and two Dark Knights.

Some tragically good ideas choked to death in a game with recycled environments, dozens of retarded minigames in place of actual content, insanely bad dialogue, main story that only lasts three hours, really shitty music and nonexistent challenge.
