What headphones do you use
right now skullcandy, though not like it matters, no matter what i use one of them always dies in like a month (if it even starts)
i think it's a lenovo problem
>>379494753
>inb4 closed headphones
this thing is most comfiest i've ever had.
>>379495467
Go tell that to /mu/
Apple earpods or Sony Silver Wired headset.
These with an SMSL M2
I didn't know headphones could have so much sub bass
>>379495467
no they dont they all hurt like shit unless you're an elf
>>379494753
The one in your pic. I've had those big-ass headphones before but I use my pc in my bed so it's troublesome, also no good if I wanna watch videos on my phone or playing a handheld when lying on my side.
>>379494753
10 euro nobrands.
I can change them every 10 months and it's still less expensive than "gamer" ones, for no benefits.
>>379494753
Bose mie2i
>>379494753
>>379494753
The ones in you picture
Using these atm, they sound pretty great for in-ears. They're nicely balanced, every frequency is loud and clear. The only con for me is the sibilance you get with S/hiss noises at louder volumes. Though I did just get them so maybe it calms down with some use. Even if it doesn't, lowering the 6-7k frequencies with an equalizer pretty much makes it go away and makes them sound almost perfect. For me at least.
GAY ones for BIG FAGS like me
Some mlg420xxxnoscope kiddy trash that's not too bad in the sound and micro department, but was overpriced as fuck. It was a gift, so I might as well use it.
>>379496340
dude AKG are beastly.
I have 240 and it still impresses me, I cant imagine what those are like.
>>379495854
>/mu/
>Will fucking curbstomp you if you don't listen to lofi crap like Shoegaze or exclusive Kanye EP cassettes ripped at 8kps
What the fuck does /mu/ know about sound quality, go ask /g/
>>379494753
Those ones. The only headphones I've ever used that didn't die in like 2 months. They've been going strong for well over a year now.
5 years
some problems
nothing I coudn't fix
>>379497558
turtle beach used to be the underdog in gaming. i remember their sound cards would be cheap 5.1.
>>379497590
I had my sennheiser closed ear for 10 years. My akg is currently lasting 5 years.
buy some dope headphones that you can replace parts if they fuck up.
who /HD600/ here?
>>379494753
I unironically love them
>>379494753
tryhard-fags need not apply
>>379497283
Post the artist's impression.
>>379495467
The main thing that I noticed between open and closed designs, is that closed headphones sound a lot more muddled in its sound vs open ear design where the sound stage is a lot more open making things sound crisp and clean. My best example is the difference between listening to a song with you putting pillows over your ears vs not. I personally use the Grado's SR325e for music and games when needed. If you are looking for comfy then they are terrible but they are so sensitive and clear that I am able to hear footsteps from a mile away.
Whatever happened to these?
>>379497460
/b/'s anwser is better.
>>379497772
Used to, fun cans
>>379495019

>>379500265

I use skype sometimes and I'm not going to buy a blue yeti and pop filter like a lets player
Currently enjoying these
>>379494753
I work for a headphone company (technically four headphone companies) and have dozens and dozens of pairs. So usually whatever is closest to me at the time.
>>379503625
Must suck if everyones losing them.
I just use some random shitty monitors for like 6 years now
Before these all my ear buds were dying every couple of months. Been two years and these things still work great.
I use 990, they feel really comfortable and sound amazing, plus I like the design
>>379508154
Fuck yeah, I use the 80Ohm DT 770 Pros. I'm getting some 990s soon though, since I want an open back option.
Almost everything on my x2's
These just blow my hd650 out of the water.
But this might be a taste thing
>>379502547
the opposite of fun cans.
>>379508274

Howd I do?
first pair
>>379510023
They kinda hurt my ears after wearing them for too long but pretty good regardless.
ISK HD9999 that I got from Aliexpress for 50 euros last year. Honestly I love them
>tfw you love your Xiaomi Pistons 3 but you have them for a yearand half so you worry they'll break soon so you want to buy them, but they are not made anymore and are really expensive
any cheap memeheadphones with similar quality?
>>379504004
My condolences.
>>379494753
this
>>379494753
Beats earbuds. They're pretty nice. My headset is a pair of Turtle Beaches, both good sound and nice and comfortable.
They're okay.
None, my cat ate mine's cords yesterday.
>>379496651
ey lil bro
>>379494753
Sony earbuds
I don't care about beats and background, as long as the main song is loud and clear I'm good
Also Fuck the 3DS for having horrible sound output, your better off listening without headphones
This crap which somehow still works after 7 years.
any recommended headphones in the 60€ range? getting a mic and need a decent one for gayming and chatting with the senpai
I have one of these. They're comfy to wear for hours and they fit on my big stupid head. I used cheap $50 headphones up until now, so these are a nice improvement.
My only problem is the left ear went out a couple of weeks ago and I had to solder a wire. Works fine now, but I want I want to get a DT770 or an M50x as a 'backup' pair.
Best budget headphones out there. I'm not enough of an audiophile to invest hundreds of dollars into high end headphones and amps so these are perfect for me.
So, what are the best headphones with detachable cable in mid 50 to 100 dollars?
G35
They're cheap and wear down quickly but they're comfortable and the only headset I've seen to figure out fucking hotkeys properly and not go hamfisted retard all over it.
I wouldn't recommend it unless it's on sale, I bought like 5 for $10 during Christmas because I know how quickly they break. The first set I bought then already has part of the cushion's covering peeling off and it almost instantly got a hairline crack on the headpiece connection because it's made out of cheap plastic.
The microphone for it is great, probably one of the best of any headset and I wouldn't mind having just the microphone by itself.
Sony MDR-1A
Worth every damn penny. Haven't used speakers in years.
I just got the cheapest decent headphones with detachable wires, been using them for like 5 years now
>>379514790
can you give me a name?
>>379515154
Yes
>>379515154

I want these for gaming with roommates.
>>379515351
Cool
I never understood why anyone would buy gamer headsets? Just get some good senn heisers with a mic on the cord (intended for mobile phones) and you'll have way better sound quality and a similarly shitty mic for the same price.
I can recommend the sennheiser momentum and urbanite series from experience, but they aren't really cheap. Still a 40 USD Sennheiser would outperform any 150 USD gaming headset.
>>379516195

>>379504004

>>379494753
pistons
DT770's, Tennmak Pros, and Superlux 668b. I feel bad for people with shitty gaming headsets.
>>379494753
SteelSeries Siberia 350
It's pretty good. Double banded and doesn't have any bullshit on the cord that frays it over time. Would recommend.
>Get a few gift cards and cough up just a couple bucks and get a 250 dollar pair of headphones just cuz
>Holy shit this is awesome
>They eventually wear out, beat and broken up, dogged, repaired, more beat up, blah blah. Well loved and well used
>Don't want to spend a ton of money on a new set
>tfw getting a 50 dollar pair
ITS NOT THE SAME I WISH I NEVER GOT GOOD HEADPHONES ITS A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO GO BACK TO CHEAP-O ONES
>>379517179
Sup 668b bro.
Is it normal for those things to get unbearable after an hour or two? It hurts.
>>379494753
Those look uncomfortable
Not even mad. Hands down best headphones I've had.
>>379494753

Does anyone has bought a ProDJ 100 Koss? I was thinking in buying one and wanted know if anyone had any experience with it
>>379518260

These
>spend a few hours looking for the best headphones I can get in my price range
>find a pair that seem perfect and buy them
>they're really good

I still laugh sometimes
