survival score doesn't seem to be affected by the death of a unit, probably only when your whole team loses, so you can sacrifice units if necessary. Especially helpful in the last map, where you can go suicide mode with a unit to take a threat out if the rest your team can handle the remaining units

Very possible even without dragons, dancers or healers. The sustain from Julia's Breath of Life and Ike's Aether were just enough. If you can find a setup that can plow through the first 6 maps without taking damage i'd recommend it over running a healer, it'll make it easier to clear out the last one.

The thing about healers is that their effectiveness is dependant on what the rest of your team is.
If you try using them with glass cannons then they're not gonna be very helpful.
But if you have a lot of enemy phase units like Nowi or Hector that will constantly be tanking hits then healers are great to constantly pop them back to full.

Keep Defiant ATK, put Brash Assault on her B slot, and then probably something like Memebow for a special.

Anything that isn't blue should be 1shot nuked by her combo of defiant+brash+desperation(built into her weapon) when you get her under 50% hp by either tanking or using a hp switch ability.. If you have a dancer or any way to move/protect her then there you go.

It essentially makes her speed stat obsolete, while high it may not be enough to handle some of the 40-43+ SPD units you'll find in the arena or in this case the tempest. Sol Katti has Desperation built into it so any time you are under 50% HP and attack someone that can counter you are guaranteed a 2x regardless of either units speed and get both swings in before they can counter.

Very nice if you want to drop red sword bombs, better if you can dance her in/out of danger while doing so. It's also a fairly cheap build.

It kinda does. One of the things that makes horse emblem viable in the first place is the hone/fortify cavelry buff. A -blade tome unit makes the most of those buffs by getting a +30 to their attack stat. Honestly the best thing you could probably do to start a horse emblem team is give a tome cavalry a -blade tome.
