Nah the story continued through the MMO and it looks to be that way from now on since its still recieving updates and content.

What Id be more concerned about at this point is if Deep Down will actually get picked up again, or if DDO gets an official western release, but I think were beyond humoring that thought, its been too long.

Try Toukiden 2, its actually pretty good, has a party system and great combat. The problem with jap setting is that everything looks very similar, so its not very interesting.

We're definitely getting DD related news this E3, the ports for current Gen were only recently announced so that'll likely appear in some capacity. Also rumours of DDO coming westward. Part of me thinks that Capcom wouldn't go to this effort to promote DD with ports, hints at a Western DDO release and hyping up the 5th anniversary of the 'series' if they didn't want to do sequels, but the existence of the MMO unsettled me on that front. On the other hand it's Capcom, I shouldn't expect much.
