Does /v/ play rom hacks? If so than what are your favorites?
Prism is god-tier, it's better than most main line games
>creator managed to add abilities, physical/special split, new types and overworld walking sprites for all Pokemon to the Gen 2 engine
>and it runs at 60fps
>no modification to the memory so it could theoretically be played on a real GBC
Some real coding wizardry at work here, too bad the game got cucked days before ""official"" release.

>too bad the game got cucked
This isn't even almost what cucked means.

/vg/ fixed it and added more.
Haven't played it in almost a decade but Super Monkey RPG was pretty cool.

/vp/*
And a week or so after the release.
There was a guy extending the mod and bug fixing.

I've been waiting for Prism for probably about 7 years and it's been absolutely worth the wait. Too bad Rijon Adventures will never get finished now though.

Do you have a link?
I got the itch to play 3rd get again like, a week ago and went for an Emerald enhancement instead of a full blown rom hack.
I fucking hate it.
Every trainer has 2 total recoveries minimum.
Every trainer has at least one mon with Double Team / Minimize / Other serup moves
By the 5th gym, even by doing some sped up training against wild pokemons, enemy trainers are 10 levels above my party's average.
It's just a chore at this point, forces me to grind AND have a perfect party composition when I just wanted to catch them all.
Pokemon Glazed is pretty good as well (pokemon prism even includes a pokemon glazed city in it)
