Played a bit of D44M. Mostly getting the rest of the secrets.

Mega Man X, some of MM1, Pokémon Shuffle, and Moon.
I'm absolutely horrible at classic Mega Man

TERA but the end game content is crap and there's too much grinding, I'll probably never touch it again

Bravely Default. I have a weird relationship with JRPGs. I like them, and enjoy playing them, but I just can't fucking stick with them for the life of me. I've played a good amount of the FF series, some DQ, Chrono Trigger, Mother 3, even fucking pokemon, and I've never gotten much more than 30 or so hours into a single one, at best. I might eventually just ez-mode my way through BD just so I can fucking finally say I've finished one.

I'm seriously wondering if there's something I'm missing or if I just naturally lose interest in games like these fairly fast.

Why are you starting with 2 instead of MGS1? Are you fucking retarded? If you're that retarded start with chronological story order or whatever. Release order is definitely best with MGS if you're not a brain dead retard that can follow nonlinear narrative and actually get some fucking shock from the revelations each game has leading to the next game.
