Yes, I played it twice.

The gameplay is terrible because the system is a bloated mess that's also incredibly easy to exploit. Fuck the grid system because you're going to be casting spells that ignore it. Fuck the insane amount of damage types, you're going to stomp every dungeon with megidola. The exp is system is also horrible as it gives to most of the exp to the people who do the most damage. Characters will fall behind and because getting demon cards is based on partly average, you're going to have to go back and grind them up. The typical response to this would be "just balance your party bro". But the point is, that would mean making the game harder for yourself by not just spamming the easy skills just so you have to grind just a bit less. Terrible, awful gameplay.

The majority of the characters in Persona 1 are all one note after their "awakening" scene. You could probably guess what their reaction to something is going to be before they even say it because that's how most of the are the whole game sense very little characters actually develop.

The world's most interesting part is Maki's "ideal world" the only interesting environment in this whole world is the forest and the most interesting thing in the world is the caverns, which probably has the best writing in the whole game. Everything else looks forgettable, and mostly there just to flesh out the only decent character in the entire game.

nah. i used it through out the entire game. you only get +10 accessories by the end of the game and even than, i Wellcome more SP adhesives more beacuse the bigger spells cost a fuckload of SP and you most likely wont have spell master in any of your personas until NG+.

140 sp doesn't end up mattering that much. The 2 people who are going to worry about running dry in extended fights are Ann and Makoto. For Ann that amounts to 2 more sets of concentrate+blazing hell. For Makoto, that's like 1.5 rotations of Maraku>Mediarahan>Atomic Flare. Both of them are going to benefit way more from either +5 magic accessories or element boost rings.

Fine, maybe for few last bosses you should switch to +5 magic but it still trivialize everything before it by a lot making coffee and SP skills obsolete. Considering how they tried to balance everything for careful time and SP management, adhesive makes no sense. It should be extremely expensive or locked until endgame.
