i took a wii u to a pawn shop because the guy contacted me on cl and offered me 50 more than i paid for it. before i sold it to him he entered serial number in the computer than told me to stick around because he called the cops. i guess owner reported it and gave serial number to police who put into a database so when someone sells something at a pawn shop it'll match the numbers and flag it. i'm guessing it was set up to prevent stolen guns from being sold to shops but it flagged the console and cost me my money. i don't know if they do this in every city but they do it in mine.

plus when i first booted it up it hadn't been reset. still had all the shit on it from previous owner but i figured guy selling it to me was owner so i just reset it.
