i really liked the passive strategy maps where you would just build structures that would then periodically spawn units which would automatically attack the enemy were really good. the most fleshed out and popular one was probably castle fight.

i havent found this kind of game anywhere else since then.

Loved footman frenzy, even if Hero killers were stupidly overpowered and the end game was a stalemate

I used to play Alliance vs Horde (or maybe it was called Orcs vs Humans) and they had those codes too.

I loved playing Castle Fight with some friends.

Used to play a lot of Footman Frenzy and Battleships back in the day, and later on Island Defense and DotA. Sometime after that hosting bots took over Battle.net and I sort of lost interest.

I don't remember how it started but you could play as tons of different heroes and it was almost like a version of Dota in a way with waves and heroes and stuff. I remember Crypt Lord was OP because there was a glitch where his spikes did 99999 damage.
