I rarely bought Vita ports in the 5 years I got it, the only ports I bought are indieshit like La Mulana EX, Downwell and so on, the Vanillaware games and Romancing SaGa 2, none of which can even remotely be called trash by any standard, especially when they're dirt cheap, unlike to the 3DS games.

No it isn't, Downwell is a pretty fun and creative platformer/SHMUP hybrid, and it's well worth the grand two bucks I spent on it.

Depends on which one are you talking about, Dragon Quest and SMT are already a long running franchises, Radiant Historia got popular thanks to simply being a pretty good game and Etrian Odyssey is the hope for old style dungeon crawling.
