Ha-Go - Cannon fodder. I can't even stress that enough.

I-Go Ko - Probably the worst reserve tank in the entire game.

• Ka-Mi - Piece of shit white brick with a lousy cannon, that has a tendency to just drift sideways whenever you move forward.

Ke-Ni - Literally a rust bucket.

Chi-Ha - This is supposed to be a Medium Tank. I repeat. A MEDIUM TANK. This thing can't even go up against the earliest version of a Panzer without blowing up instantly.

Chi-He - Better than the Kai, but way worse than a Ho-I.

Chi-Ha Kai - A new, slightly bigger turret that somewhat resembles a classic tank design. All for the same piece of shit tank chassis. Can you believe it? The autistic sperglords of the official War Thunder wiki call this thing the "Swiss Army Knife" of early tier tanks. Are you fucking kidding me? That literally means it's good at nothing!

Chi-Nu - A fucking oversized tuna can that gets opened by every tank on the field. Just LOOK at it.

Pretty trash in all honesty. They completely lack any kind of CAS none of their heavy fighters have ground loadouts like other nations so they dont fare very well in RB. The only saving grace is they have HE filler rounds which makes up for the flat, paper armour somewhat.

The only thing that made the grind bearable was the premium Tiger to skip over alot of the lower ones.

The medium line was fine, fit well historically and they were mostly fun to play. Heavy line was the exact opposite, full of bullshit and one of the dumbest if not the dumbest tanks to play in the game. Literally just point front towards enemy and hope for a good derp roll.

Is it worth going higher tier in WT or better to stay at I-III?

The game is great if you don't have any desire to go past tier III because the grind goes up exponentially from there.

Just pretend all the cool jets and cold war tanks don't exist and you won't get frustrated with the grind.

Most fun I had in the game is fucking around with biplanes in arcade.
