Pika Libre because she's strong but has no bullshit. She just plays the RPS system the game presents. No wall of projectiles, no reversal moves that break the RPS rules, no shenanigans of any kind. Just solid moves.

Pokken on WiiU still has 5000 active players or so on any given day. For a year old fighting game on a console as dead as that, that's pretty fucking good. I don't think Pokken DX will have trouble maintaining a decent population for at least 4 years.

This is legitimately a good roster except Pika Libre over Hawlucha. I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I don't think Libre is a case of it not "stealing" a spot from anyone since all its animations are unique to it. Meaning it really didn't have to be another Pikachu. Fuck Korea.

Japanese players have access to the arcade version, and most of their events use it as well, which has Croagunk, Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, and has extra patches.

Worlds will use the WiiU version, so Japanese players will be playing on essentially an older version of the game they aren't used to for the competition wheras everybody else will be accustomed to it
