What's the best fantasy RPG on steam that I should buy right now?

That's such a vague description you could literally play anything and be satisfied

Final Fantasy IX, despite some questionable elements, it's the most fantasy-rooted FF game post-SNES days. And it's just really good.
I suppose Symphonia is fine, but that game was made when the team was transitioning into 3D combat, and it has arguably the worst gameplay in the series. But if you want to experience a textbook JRPG plot, it's the way to go. Tropey as hell, but executed pretty well.

Also, not on Steam, but I totally recommend that you get Rance VI. It's an eroge, but has absolutely amazing JRPG story. It also has better gameplay than most other Japanese first-person dungeon crawlers on PC.

Xillia was alright. Xillia 2 was good.
Never played Berseria after that piece of shit Zestiria.

Personally I'm waiting for them to move away from the Zesty/Berseria world and them fixing the shitty dungeons before playing again.
