This, updates matter fuckall because most of the best mods are pretty much frozen in time on a certain earlier version, either because it's too much effort to bring them forward or because the creator knows there's no point updating because mods add more to the game than "dude lmao look we added another literally useless passive mob, please suck our cocks some more!!!! :D" ever EVER could. The MC devs have been useless shitpiles who do nothing but resting on their laurels for fucking years now, occasionally putting out a low effort low content update to make it seem like they give a shit.
