Yeah, most people, myself included, seemed to get tired of it incredibly quickly. I thought it was fine for like the first two or three chapters, but it very quickly started getting on my nerves. There's just something about that song that's way too exhausting for base music you listen to for dozens of hours. Thankfully you can change it to whatever you want, including the previous games' themes.

Adell has the damage per action out of anyone in the game, Killia the best damage per turn, Zetta is great for letting you take out an extra 5 units, Petta lets you reuse Overloads, Metallia for farming Stat Serums.
Red Magnus' -50% def on hit is nice but his Overload is basically worthless and downright a disadvantage in a lot of situations so that hampers his usefulness quite a bit. Still a good unit though

Also, I just unlocked the Carnage Dimension and even the weakest sword is better than my good one, does this mean the Trap I spent like 2 hours getting is useless now because it doesn't have Carnage Dimension stats?

Bad decision writing an awful character and then making DLC characters unlockable at the start, maybe next time they'll learn to make the main character likable instead of "shadow the hedgehog v2" and not reuse the plot from 4 about a "tyrant who lost his waifu :(" or whatever bullshit that was.

The carnage dimension trap maxes out at 2mil in each stat so I think normal trap won't cut it for the final bosses.

I've been working on maxing out Asagi after I finished Asagi wars on Prinny 2. I really liked her character as her mode pretty much saved the game.

I can see why people like him, for sure, but compared to the other games, it just feels like he doesn't fit in with the series at all.

I had to start skipping cutscenes around the sixth chapter just because I was so tired of the "muh void dark..." shit, and the constant flashbacks. In the first few chapters of D3 Mao at least had a lot more going for him besides "muh dad..." like the entire honor student shit and his experiments.

Then again, that's just my opinion, even if it's shit.

Assuming you have D5c, you can actually change the base music to any other base theme in the series by going to the Data Shop (mothman) and going to Music Records, the base themes from D1-DD2 all played in the cutscenes/battles with the characters from said game and are therefore available.
I love Moving on but shit if D3's base theme isn't a jam I don't know what is.

I've only played Disgaea 5. I wish the boss fights had more going for them. I'm stuck on LoC void right now but it feels more of a stat grind then making a strategy.

It'd be neat to see how wacky a boss could be in this kind of game if it was designed around large boss encounters.

You don't even need gear for anything in the game. You will pretty easily hit 99m in every stat without any equipment whatsoever after you did class masteries, stat serums, and got your evilities sorted. Gear only really helps movement and to free up an Evility slot or two for utility ones if you bothered leveling it enough. You won't even really get all that much extra damage from freeing up those Evility slots since the Atk Damage Cap is so low.
