The main things people seemed to be upset at were the various retcons and the WC3 retcons, also too much wasn't explained in the movie which you'd have to have played the game to know about.

I didn't mind it honestly, and I'm hoping for a sequel since I want things to lead into a WC3 movie and Arthas' downfall.

I think it had its fair share of good moments. I actually liked the change where Garona had to kill the King, instead of making it just a plain betrayal.
It's a shame that a lot of the good parts got cut out. There's 2 or 3 minute scene with the Orcs where they're sitting around, and it introduces Grommash, as well as what fel is.

I liked that the Orcs were calling Gul'dan a fucking loser coward after he killed Durotan by using magic. Dude was fucking ripped though.
It's a shame they won't have the scene in the next film with Durotan with his arms chopped off with baby Thrall lying on his chest though.

If anything, it's going to be an altered Lord of the Clans. The film will probably end with the final climax with Thrall facing off against Blackmoore, then it'll set up for Warcraft 3.
Makes me wonder when they plan on picking up on the Arthas or Illidan story, because Warcraft 3 is fucking full of story.
