Like seriously, just looking at pic related: I recently played the first TR for the first time and even with shitty graphics and controls it felt so much more fun and satisfying than modern games because I actually had to find things on my own, without arrows and markers showing me exactly everything that there is to see.

Also Devs should decide on what features they work on instead of just putting in as much shit as possible.

For Example Fallout 4 tried to be an RPG, Open World Game, FPS with dialog "trees" and a base builder.
All these on their own could make for a great game but togheter it became a mess.
