I played TLC for years on my XBOX hueg, I think I put over 1000 hours into that fucking game because it was the only game I had for it.

Speaking of, here's a little bit of info not many know about TLC. If you rush through the game with as little reknown as possible, the enemies in snowspire are a lot different from the endless minion rush. There's a type of fairy and a type of troll you'd never see otherwise.

Fable 2 went in the wrong direction from what made the original game fun. Melee combat was a boring slog and removing mana management from the game trivialised the feeling of using magic, not to mention limited what you could do with it from a design perspective. It still had plenty of fun things to do and shooting people up with guns wasn't bad. Melee combat got better once you unlocked flourishes too.

Fable 3 went even further away from what made Fable 1 fun and made the bad aspects of Fable 2 even worse. There was no way to control the development of your hero weapons, and all of them were flat out worse than any legendary weapon of the same kind. Load times were way too long and having that pause gimmick room was just a pain in the ass and completely unnecessary. I don't know why they tried so hard to kill menus in the game, but the game certainly suffered for it. The funds for the Albion Army gimmick ultimately didn't matter because you could just keep buying and renting houses. That's just a few things off the top of my head.

Though I am sure most people know this for about 10 years now.
You don't need 5 points in physique health and toughness to get the harbinger you only need 5p 2h 3t
the trick is that you need these amounts of improvement after the first time you touch the sword so if you have 2 points in physique 5 in health and 4 in toughness where you first try to pull the sword from the stone THEN you do need full everything to get it but if you just hold off on improving your strength attributes until comming to knothole it will save you a bit of a grind.

while I'm at it collect your XP bottles until you teleport to knothole and you meet that Troll in the cutscene, one shot him with a charged up shot and you will get around a 64 combat multiplier and with about 3 bottles of each kind that is 192000 xp in each collum
