>canon ending is the easiest ending to get

I fucking despise multiple endings. Especially if the bad ending is the easiest. No better way for a game to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Makes me want to watch the good one on youtube and never touch the game again

Name three games where this is the case.

Multiple endings have no right being in long ass games like JRPGs. Like, "I played this game for 60+ hours and you're gonna give me a fucking bad ending? Fuck you."

Persona 5 did it well. The choices are pretty obvious. P4 sucked though. I struggled dealing with teddy the whole game just to get the bad ending. I'll probably never play it again. Valkyrie profile is guilty too. Multiple endings should always be obvious. I like how catherine did them

>The choices are pretty obvious.
Then what's the point?
>none of the endings are canon
The entire story goes to shit so the developers release a new game that's in the same time line before the ending of the main game and make sure you never find out which ending is cannon.

>All of the endings are canon

I don't know, to see different outcomes, I guess? I don't like multiple endings overall though. Nothing says fuck you like missing the good ending because of a series of fucking retarded requirements or questions that you need a guide to figure out

Fuck you Resident Evil

Thank you, Drakengard.

Makes sense. Out of the 20% of people that actually finish the game, 80% of those won't bother more than once.
