Closest card we have to running everything at 4k60FPS is a 1080ti, Scorpio is using an AMD SoC and AMD does not have anything that even comes close to a 1080ti. Even with the "console optimization" meme its not going to hit 60FPS.

That said, I've splurged recently so I can play Total War games at glorious Ultra graphics.

It has literally no games. Nintendo has Nintendo, Sony has a handful of Japanese games, and Xbox has Halo and Forza. All three are really losing their pool of exclusives and reasons to buy them. More companies want max sales which is better on multiplatforming.

Consoles were gimmic machines, they use to have cool oddities that made games on them unique. So now that they don't porting to everything isn't exactly so hard for devs, at least devs not farming it out or with their heads up their asses.

I don't see the scorpio being any different. 4k TVs are an extreme rarity right now, and trying to push them as the next advancement in technology like they pushed blurays (and tried to push HD dvds, lel), and DVDs, and CDs, means they'll catch on, sure, but you're still hitting that point of diminishing returns, and it's all the more noticeable when the devs literally don't even show off the fucking gameplay or the character models or that kinda stuff anymore, it's all about HDR and 4k resolution.

I use to work in a PC shop. Trust me the average user can't pirate a game without getting aids. Most of the people that pirate a lot never even play 80% of those games. I know it sounds far fetched, but use to know a lot of pirates and god damn the fucked up computers that I fixed. Seriously though most people at best can manage to pirate a movie or show.
