I don't even give a fuck about having a bad SL, everyone has bad matches, or ones where the deck is stacked against you.
But I hate SLs that abandon, especially without passing over the SL position; it turns into a game of hot potato where nobody wants the responsibility and the squad dissolves as a no-mic, no-kit ends up with it.

It really makes the maps look flavorless and artificial. The game touts its HD graphics but when you look at a room it looks worse than Minecraft. I've heard that immersion is a big deal to self-proclaimed simulation gamers, so I think it would matter to a lot of people.

Fully destructible fps games are rarely fun in practice in my experience. And realism was never the be-all-end-all of the game's direction. It was a balance of fun and realism.

The environments and models looks nice enough for me. I'm sure they'll make it up to your fashion model sense when the game is further along

Not him, but I'd like to point out ARMA has the exact same problem.
But hey, Squad's maps are still in active development and literally multiply in size each update.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some more interior decor coming in the future; at least for the maps that need it, most outdoor-based maps actually have quite a bit already.
For maps that already has a bit, I'd probably point out that maps set in Afghanistan/Pakistan realistically don't need more than the mats, pillows, tarps, and whatnot that they already have.
That being said, I'd definitely like to see improvement in the interiors of Al Basrah and other, future urbanized maps. But I mean, it's a new map, so what can you do?

Even if I was specifically talking about 'full destruction', I don't see how no game doing it well before is a decent counter-argument at all. Give me an actual argument. Why do you automatically snap to 'full destruction' when I said 'destruction'? Why is it that you seem to think that the game would be less fun with any amount of destruction implemented at all? There's a lot of ways you can implement map destruction and I think it's very naive to say the entire idea is all hogwash.

Not surprising that a player of this sort of game would be very against the idea of anything new though lol

as for OP, there's a flaw in not having much terrain or building destruction, that's about the only thing Battlefield does right.. (other than that Battlefield games are pretty shit due to over-balance and arcadey mechanics)

Use scroll wheel and click, although sometimes I'm worried I'll shoot someone it works pretty well until the revamp.

There are flaws with the game but it is progressing, if a little slowly, very well. The newest dev blog has further enforced that my faith in the devs has not been misplaced.

Batlefield had huge ass company with shitload of devs behind it and it took years to fix the game after release make it playable. Squad is in early access game built on a fairly new engine ue4 by small indie group of devs.

Depends on a few things. If you know how to aim a rifle there's a good bit out of the way. The other learning curve is that the game SORT OF mirrors real life in that you cannot just run out in the open or you will get cut down by some vehicle on a hill 800 meters away, or by a machine gun somewhere possibly. You have to learn where "safe" areas are and how to move in such a way to avoid being exposed. Besides that there's a lot of pointing and clicking.

Yeah I don't know what happened, in devices it showed the bars moving as if it worked, but in all programs it wasn't picking up until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Now I'm paranoid and check it every once and a while.

I wish I was a better squadleader, I know the game pretty well I'm just not good at commanding people. I get this weird feeling after a while of squad-leading that no one is listening to me and that I'm doing shit and want to quit, even if I'm doing okay. I just don't have a very commanding voice/ personality so when the squadlead leaves and we need someone to take over I want to take over I just feel like I'll do a bad job, and just let someone else take it.

it's more casual than arma 3. you don't have to be in clans and stuff to find people to play. you can just join a random server and find random people to play and communicate with them. you don't have bother to setup stuff before you play there no missions etc you just go capture kill or get killed.

radio/hab should be a single building that need to be shoveled.

make fob unspawnable as soon as the enemy outnumber friendlies nearby.

increase recharge time by 2x on rally points.
