Anyone else only really notice the massive difference in FPS when they screen is in their peripheral vision or off-center where they're viewing, or when watching a video of gameplay.
But not see any difference when playing or directly watching gameplay.

No. 30fps vs 60fps is night and day. 30fps is very playable and no problem playing games at that. Shit, Ocarina of Time was around 20fps if I'm not mistaken and it was never an issues. But no. 60fps looks WAY smoother than 30.

Thanks for the life story nerd. Nobody asked that.

Yes get your eyes checked.

>Does anyone else experience this?
>Yes, get your eyes checked.

Why would I need to get them checked if you just said you experience it too?
>>
Wait what? You're not noticing a difference in framerate when you're directly playing or watching gameplay?

at focal point when directly playing (Mostly looking straight at the character/car/target) or when I do the same while someone else is playing.

And its not that I don't know there is a difference between 30 and 60. its just any framerate between 30 and 60 feels the same. Framerates that drop below 30 still feel chunky and I can still notice when framerates fluctuate wildly.

But for the most part for me to see 60 fps as that crispy lifelike movement shit I have to not focus too much at any specific point on screen, so basically like I said while watching videos or watching it off to the side etc...

Its not like I can't tell 60 is smooth, i just don't perceive that crispness in motion when I'm actually focusing on playing the game.

So what you're basically saying is that things look smoother out of your peripheral vision than your focal point? If so, then I think this applies to everything. You get a lot less visual data out there, so your brain makes most of it up. It's like natural interpolation

30 FPS is unplayable, 60 FPS is trash, 120 FPS or above is the ways to go baybeeeee
>>
>>379349038
Your peripheral vision is the best at detecting movement, however.
>>
>Using a still image to show the difference between FPS

Neck yourself

What's the problem?

But... the image holding all 3 is a JPG and its 15KB...
