Sure Pokken is better, because they intentionally withheld the DLC characters. (It isn't better for the Japanese, it's 60 for one character who will eventually come to arcades or be left out of the meta.) And Zelda BOTW is marginally better because they took out gamepad support. But even then, it's not unanimous, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe completely botched the balancing. And it doesn't change that I played these games for several years (Maybe a a year or two too few) before they suddenly were getting superior ports. (240P eye rape like HW Legends and Yoshi and Poochi don't count)

Ports to PS4 didn't invalidate the PS3 library. It just didn't do much to help the PS4 library. Same deal with the Switch and the WiiU.

I and pretty much everyone else on the WiiU got their playtime out of it already. There's a reason the WiiU supported successful online on Splatoon, Smash 4, and Mario Kart 8 and not Pokken. It's a fun little game but I don't think it's capable of holding a communities attention for very long

Really was not a bad system. The games that were made for it was great the problem is on the customer side it was confusing solely for the name for the average consumer. From the development side it is underpowered and does not allow for the same level of graphic wanking as then other consoles.
