Man, first time I barely beat that level. Had the smart idea of running and hiding a Sorceress up the north east pass and chilling out in a river til the clock finally hit zero. Longest minute in any game for me.

How would you make a defensive matrix ability into warcraft 3?
according to one of the developers adding one would prolong games way too long

So far I made one that starts low and grows as the caster levels, recharging out of combat and a working shield bar.

As well it can be transferred to other allied targets temporarily for a short duration at the cost of depleting the casters own shield

you can cheese it by building something where you start the map at. I managed to last the final 3 minutes after my main base got wiped from that

Yeah, i suck at rts, but managed to beat this mission at around age 12. Got stuck in the moongate ones as a kid though.
Today i can beat them all.

Learn the basics of squad manipulation and hot key. The less you use the mouse to do anything other than move and attack, the better you will probably will be doing. There is a manual in blizz old site.
