I can agree with this. they make the same game over and over and the moronic fans eat that shit up. the best pokemon game is HHSS because there's actual content packed in to keep the player going for a long time. every other game has a post-game that lasts maybe 5-6 hours at most and it's fucking boring.

XY hyped me up so much that I bought a 3DS. I should have stopped playing after XY because ORAS was underwhelming and Sun/Moon was the final nail in the coffin due to the removal of a perfectly functional online multiplayer system. I can't believe that Game Freak actually felt that Festival Plaza was an improvement over PSS. They're always removing useful features and making dumb choices. I'm glad I stopped browsing /vp/. This place isn't any better but I love the variation of vidya discussion.

BW2 had a decent post game too but I know what you mean. They purposefully give the first games of each generation no postgame as an incentive to by the updated editions/sequels/remakes. This is scummy anyway but they've been doing it since 1996, so it's not going anywhere. Gen 6 was rushed as fuck to get SOMETHING out for 3DS after how long 5 lasted on DS, so we've had a long string of releases with shit post games after BW2. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the last straw for me personally, there's no reason for these games to be rushed like the last several plus it isn't the first game of the generation so really they have no excuse.

I mainly use GOG for games when I can, But a lot of times the multiplayer games seem like they only use steam. Might just me though. At least GOG has better sales.
