Been playing Anthology with a hard 20 credit limit on each game. 1 and X are some good fun, but fuck me if I'm ever finishing 3 like this.

I can clear Metal slug X with about two credits, probably would get a 1cc if it weren't for those fuking trains in stage 5.
Still, i think that's the easiest game on the series.

I just looked at the attract screen for a bit and the neo-geo decided spit a quarter into my crotch at a high enough speed that it would dig into my testicles. I had to go to the doctors to get it removed and the pain was the most excruciating thing I'll probably ever feel. It was the best day of my life.

I can get to the final mission on MS1 on one credit. Working on getting the full 1CC. Finally got the Mission 3 O'Neil fight consistent, but the joystick on the local Neo Geo is a bit janky when it comes to moving it down. No excuses though.

MS3 I'm good at too but I'll never be able to 1CC it.

Used to play in arcades a lot. What people did(including me) is to play one game every time you visit an arcade place until you are so good at it, you only spend 1 token/quarter/coin/etc to finish the whole game.

i 1 cc'd the last level of metal slug 3 when i was younger trying to unlock the UFO mode in the xbox port. takes me like 14 continues to beat the game now

1cc'd the first game fairly easily, wanted to move on and play the later games but they are all too long. Can't be bothered honestly. If they were 20 mins long like the first one I'd do it for sure.

The last levels are never the problem since generally you're too tense to care about length at that point. It's repeating early levels that's a drag. Plus I've been playing Psikyo so it'd be quite a jump.
