That entire list is wrong though, WoW's lore gets bent over a table every expansion. The game has been around since 2006. The gameplay is exactly the same as the MMO's preceding and following it. Star Citizen is the most legendary game for wasting your money on digital items. WoW was successful but especially after Warlords of Draenor it's by no means even the best MMO available.

I've watched the guide for Mar'gok Mythic while it does looks challenging i still think that A8S from previous tier is still the hardest modern mmo encounter. Just look at this shit, insane amount of mechanics happens at the same time https://youtu.be/sUaYmgSzkR4
And unlike unlike WoW in XIV almost everything in Savage(hardcore) raids instakills you or brings you down to 5% hp and places shittion of vulnerability debuffs on you that cannot be dispelled and last about 2-4 minutes.
So basically if only one person fails the mechanics - wipe. You need a very coordinated group that can do all of this shit and still maintain good dps for dps checks.

Yeah I must agree. I quit playing seriously back in WotLK but it was fucking amazing then., I came back for Pandaland for a few months and I loved it. Seriously amazing. Skipped Cata completely though. And I played Draenor too for a short while, like 5 weeks but not sure what to make of that. I don't like it now as much as all players say. A8S first phase is easy as hell because the thing telegraphs for quite a while each of its attacks making them easy to dodge. The next phase where it's the two guys then becomes four guys seems to contradict what you say because I have seen more than one video of people kite tanking the other three while everyone wails on one of them. The third phase goes back to having a heavily telegraphed AOE and a long ass single direction laser attack (and also a slight aoe fire that's also fired in front of him) that leaves it easy to attack. Then it splits back into the first couple phases occasionally in a part that you can take your time with avoiding.

Nothing compared to Margok's "if you position even a yard too close to each you die" or Gul'dan's "the stage continues to get limited while there's a wipe thing you gotta almost kill yourself and not get everyone killed while also protecting everyone and having to actually DPS during all this" or Archimonde's "everything ever". FFXIV has slower response time from player actions which means that boss strategies don't need to be as strict. Also nothing as heavily telegraphed as those AOEs or the boss just standing in one place and using one attack everyone easily dodges giving free hits.
