resubbed recently only to realize im stuck behind a wall of story quests on a class i don't plan to main.
have a level 52 dragoon still not in heavensward main quest wise.
i was thinking about maining PLD,DRK or RDM in the expansion and started to level a gladiator.

You've got multiple options. If you want to do PLD, you could start leveling it now and work on the MSQ when you get back up to the appropriate level. If you want to do DRK, go straight into MSQ on DRG until you get to Heavensward so you can unlock it. If you want to do RDM, stick to DRG and work on as much of the MSQ as you can for now and regardless you'll be able to unlock it when SB drops since it's being placed in ARR areas.

Either way save yourself dollery doos and get to a point where you can do MSQ, whether its on a job you want or not.

Get DRG to 60, complete the MSQ, then unlock RDM as soon as SB drops. Get it to level 70 (it starts at level 50).
You will also have loads of time to get PLD and DRK done straight after.
