Last week I had the chance to pick it up for €15 new, and then a couple of days later for €10.
I didn't.

16 reasons why, huh.
>Implying anyone cares at this point
They were lucky to get a few people playing after they added the worthless base building. At this point, No Man's Sky is ancient history.
I wouldn't mind picking this (((game))) up, but fuck paying $80 for it
>Portals shown working in fucking e3 trailers 3 years ago are SKILLS not in even 1 year after release
lmaoooo
>there are people on /v/ that bought this shit, fully aware its content is entirely randomly-generated
How much more of a red flag was needed? How do we stop this from happening again?

> ARG is solved
> Game is patched, portals open
> More of the same recolored shit
We all know it'll happen.
>>379311192
what is ARG?
>>379310416
I've been waiting for a new content release before I pick it up, so this is pretty exciting news. Frankly they're handling the criticisms they've received really well, better than most devs do by ignoring it completely and manufacturing DLC to the dismay of consumers. I'm pretty interested in what's to come.

you can have procedural generated games with a story built into them.
What we got was inventory management the game

There will never be a good space sim ever again. Accept it, crush what hope you have left and become the empty husk you were destined to be the moment you laid eyes on your first space sim.

eric. simply eric
Well, hope it's good. If they decided this shit was worth doing an ARG over it's probably more significant than the last two updates which were already pretty good.
Hopefully we have a game that's worth playing through by the end of the year.

Nice box art though
Looking forward to getting this game in a Humble Bundle two years from now when it actually has maybe 30% of the content that was promised.
The first update made me have hope, though they really doubled down on a few of the mistakes they made. They tripled down on them hard in the next one, and I really think that was the final nail in the coffin. It's too bad, they just don't really know how to make a good game.
>>379315270
The box art is honestly one of the best things the game has going for it. It looks just like a cover for an old pulp science fiction book, something like Fantasy and Science Fiction Magazine.
