Mkdev already has a workaround updated to the latest version for ages. They just use a separate exe for each processor and it works just like retail. They have most modern CPUs on the list so it's pretty much a crack at this point.

Pro tip: the game is shit though so I wouldn't even bother. This is coming from someone that spent hundreds of hours on each fm since like 07(purchased legitimately) but tried 17 for like a couple of hours and never touched it again.
