Not really excited but I'll probably buy it. I don't know who the developer is that's doing the remake but they seem to really care about it by listening to fan suggestions so I'll support it.

A game that was originally designed around 30fps is one of them.
Crash is not fast nor precise enough to benefit from 60fps inputs. It would be meaningless.

In fact, the only times I even notice the difference between 60fps and 30fps is when I switch between games.
But then I very quickly adapt and it's as if there is no difference.

The only thing I care about regarding framerate is that it's consistent.

None of that would cost any more or less than making a game that runs at 30 fps if the console could handle it. Locking it down to a specific framerate is the only thing that would require work and money, and also possibly prevent the game from running at higher framerates properly.

What happened is they gave a higher priority to the game looking prettier than it running better. I get this kind of logic for a game with realistic graphics, but for a cartoony platformer that's a retarded decision.

Like I said, I can tell the difference, though mostly by how it feels rather than looks.

When I'm IN the game, it stops mattering. I can adapt and at that point the difference just doesn't matter.
