I joined an FC with 80 people in it (now 170, although a third of that at most actually log on at least semi-regularly) and I'm one of the most, not popular (known i guess?) people in the FC now.

There are plenty of people in the FC I see logged in fairly often but never say a thing in FC chat. I see people here complain about FC's having their own cliques but if you actually make an effort to talk, joke around, discuss stuff or help out people in FC chat then it doesn't take long to become one of the regulars yourself.

Hell one guy joined the FC like 2 days ago and he's basically a regular himself now since he joins in the discussions.

I'm in awe of how much XP you get now. I just beat Ifrit (the level 20 quest) on my new character and I'm already level 26. I feel like by the time I beat Halatali and the lvl 23 dungeon I'll already be 30+.

Loosing a dot is already more than enough of a nerf to Bane. It's minimum potency would be down to 40, which is in line with Aero3 and Thunder4. They also lost 50% uptime on Shadow Flare, which is 250 potency per target of AoE gone. SMN needs an AoE filler because it's a DPS and Tri-Bind is perfect for that role as long as its potency is brought it to be worth the MP cost, this also has the added benefit of not affecting SCH since it's an SMN job skill.

There is no reason why Bane should fall off to 16 potency per target besides being a kneejerk reaction to how much padding SMN's got to do on Creator fights.

Every dungeon I've done so far has the DPS changing targets the moment I switch to the one they're focusing at the time, add to that the fact that the DPS never attack the same target at the same time.

You always want to aim to have 1 higher than the other, but you need to keep them within 30 points of each other.

This is really nuanced stuff that doesn't effect DPS THAT much, though.
