That's if you let the moon crash after saving her mind.
If you let the Gorman's steal the cows on the first night they do something that induces enough trauma to break her mind for the remainder of the game.
>>
>>379287071
As someone who has worked with the mentally unstable, I think it was a lobotomy.

She exhibits all the signs. Vagueness, disjointed words, inability to separate past from future events, ect.

We have performed lobotomies on both animals and other humans in medical experiments. Probably no different here.

>>379289861
Not with our current level of technology, no. Chemical and physical lobotomization is permanent.
>>
>>379287994
what is the medical point of a lobotomy

I don't understand what it solves

>We have performed lobotomies on both animals and other humans in medical experiments. Probably no different here.
I mean the Aliens. I understand they are leaving Termina because it's about to be destroyed and they took cows for the road, but why did they lobotmize her? She was going to be smashed anyway, it's not like what she was going to say afterwards would matter anyways.
>>
>>379287994
Does it ever get better?
>>
>>379290198
Nobody does them anymore but historically it was believed it could be used to treat mental disorders or criminal minds. At the very least you could vegetize them to stop them from being a danger to themselves or other people.
>>
>>379290198
It was believed to heal schizophrenia. Even received a Nobel for it.
>>
>>379290198
It was at one time believed that via lobotomy, one could regulate the emotions of the patient and get them to act 'normal'.

It didn't work.

>>379290424
Not really. The brain cells does not naturally regenerate itself like other cells in the body.

>>379290356

>>379290660
Schizophrenia isn't actually the same thing as Multiple Personality Disorder (or Dissociative Identity Disorder--same thing, neither proven concretely to even exist). It's just a relic of nomenclature from a time when Psychology kinda sucked.

Schizophrenia, as I've read it, is... kind of like being trapped in a dream forever. Auditory hallucinations are the most common, and the usually take the form of angry, hateful voices. It induces a state of constant restlessness, paranoia, and disorientation. The hallucinations are so deeply embedded in the brain, that people born deaf experience them as angry floating hands, making hateful gestures and signs.
>>
>>379291141
Isn't Psychology always doomed to be kinda suck since it's impossible to properly analyse a mind from within the lens of one?

Well, it was back when you had asshats like Freud just sitting in a parlor making shit up, but now it's as rigorous as any other science, and the field has grown in leaps and bounds with every new technological innovation.

That doesn't mean it's wrong to maintain a healthy skepticism--especially as everyone from self-help shysters to street-corner hucksters would love to tell you they've unlocked a secret in the human mind. The way I see it though, the brain's a machine, just like any other. Pull the pieces apart, see how they fit together, and eventually you can understand how the whole thing works.
>>
>>379287994
How is a lobotomy any better than crazy nazi experiments?
>>
Is it possible to save every single person in all 3 days in the game when you have everything unlocked? I was always too lazy to check.
>>
>>379291960
You can't say you can fully understand a machine until you can create one yourself.

Yes, with the exception of the bomb shop lady since Sakon getting away with her bag is required for the Kafei/Anju quest.

I always make up for it during my "perfect 3 day cycle before facing Majora" by spending like 500 rupees in her store.
>>

You can save everyone, with the inverted song of time (with the exception of preventing the bomb shop lady from getting robbed) I've done runs in a single cycle with:

>beating the 4 bosses
>All 15 stray fairies in all 4 temples
>Both spider houses
>Kafei/Anju quest + saving the postman
>Ranch quest
>making the chicks grow up into cuccos
>saving Koume
>finding some mushrooms for Kotake
>doing the race with the butler
>winning the Goron races
>feeding the hungry Goron
>getting all the zora eggs back
>teaching the jam session song to Evan
>healing Kamaro's soul
>teaching Kamaro's dance
>playing the Ballad of Wind Fish for Gorman
>giving paper to the hand in the toilet
>giving a healing potion to the invisible guard
>healing Sharp's soul
>saving Pamela's father
>releasing Captain Keeta from his duty
>beating Igos Du Ikana
>playing the orchestra with all the frogs
>calming down the argument in the mayor's office

>>
>>379296501
Because the Gorman's are the ones after the cows. The aliens are just a result of their smoke and mirrors and their Gerudo hoods look similar to aliens eyes.
Think about it sensibly for a moment, why would aliens even want to steal the cows and abuse the loli?

If a deaf baby is taught sign language from the begginning of his life, his "first words" wouldn't be "dadda" or any other random syllables, they'd be random sign gestures. People who have been taught sign language from the start of their life "think in hands" as much as you think in sounds.

Imagine my disdain when I got a little older and realized that's not how it works.

It's not really that hard as long as you do a practice run first to know where the stray fairies and skulltulas are and always do something. It also helps using the Great Fairy Sword for any normal fight and the FDM for the bosses.

>>379305112
The thing that fucks over the challenge the most is the 5 automatic hours that pass between entering Sakon's hideout and getting the Sun's mask. (unless you use the rolling through the rock glitch)

Dampe might be too slow to do his last day quest. But I think beating the poe sisters and doing the secret shrine is plausible too.

No, because there's a huge problem with soc departments during into article factories with little to no oversight as to what goes in them, and because the deluge of papers (most written by undergrads under no supervision) is so huge, the journals don't have time to proofread them so shitloads of garbage comes out with the "peer-reviewed" stamp.

The Crisis of Replication has hit the psychology and sociology fields the hardest, since their experiments are naturally harder to control (because the attempt to quantify human emotions) and also because a lot of their undergrad curricula places a much lesser emphasis on learning rigorous statistical/mathematical and experimental procedures to make sure their shit is legit.

Also what has gotten hit hard: medicine. Mostly because the Chinese have been pushing out 99999999999999999 papers every year so literally nobody has the time to read them all and check if they're legit (they're not, the Chinese are plagiarizing liars).

Basically the behaviorist were so desperate to be taken seriously and so smug about being able to produce study after study proving classical and operant conditioning were real, testable phenomena that their views morphed into a quasi ideological stance where they insisted that humans were born with a comepletely blank slate and that all behavior arose from following incentives in the forms of rewards or punishment. Anyone who thought otherwise was treated as a heretic.

This lasted around until Chomsky published a review of Skinners book pointing out that it made no sense, which is sometimes thought of as the start of the cognitive revolution in psychology.

The behaviorist also included in their ranks Watson, who famously performed an experiment to determine if he could use classical conditioning to induce a phobia in a baby called little Albert by making a kid noise whenever he was playing with a rat. He succeeded with the help of his grad student (with whom he was having an affair).

You can save the postman and complete the Kafei/Anju quest?

Yes, you don't need to watch his conversation with Madam Aroma to complete the quest.

Just give him the letter and then teleport to Ikana and he'll be waiting outside the bar to thank you.

I usually do it in the Final Hours, right before going off to the staff room

They are not related anymore after a point. Once you have the letter, whether or not you give it to the post man will not affect the Kafei/Anju quest.

As for Madame Aroma, it's true that giving the letter to the postman means you can't cocomplete the mission of giving the letter to Madame Aroma yourself, but it's a false issue. As the Postman deliver the letter to Madame aroma anyway, giving the letter to the postman result in everyone get to be happy, there, instead of just Madame Aroma.

I haven't been keeping up with Berserk lately, but maybe if Casca gets un-retarded and kills herself because she remembers what happened or doesn't remember and wants to go see Griffith
