VR is just dumb why do you want to play a whole game with a heavy pair of goggles on your head. The experience is crazy the first time but after a while it hurts your eyes and becomes a hindrance.

the goggle are not heavy at all. maybe you just have a twig neck, and even if you do there is no way a vr headset would be considered heavy. yeah it's an amazing experience the first few weeks, and after that it's nothing new but that can be said about anything. i still play games on mine all the time, even for juts an hour or two, but some things never get old in vr.

The resolution and hz it needs to run at does not run in line with what most modern systems can achieve right now. This has resulted in the grand majority of vr games being weak graphically. Also most of the games currently developed for VR don't really do anything new in terms of game play, if anything it's watered down and simplified in order to accommodate the use of VR to begin with.

I mean don't get me wrong, VR works well from an immersion perspective but as a medium it isn't all that well suited to gaming functionally speaking.

Aside from that there's motion sickness and the simple fact that actions are just straight up faster with kb+m or a joystick which also makes it crap for pvp.
