There are a bunch of areas in the game that were just closed off. You can get to them by hacking and they were part of the game but it was rushed to meet the anniversary. They are pretty much making the same game with those and a few other changes. I would hope they would have an actual postgame and a decent PSS for online but I have given up on them years ago.
