do you guys like these games? do they have actual gameplay or are they just choice simulators?are all of them together worth $33 on playstation?
>>379276295
They don't even have actual choices in them.
>>379276295
>games
>>379276295
I liked the back to the future game. It felt so much more involved than the games they make now, you actually had to apply point and click adventure logic to progress forward.
>>379276295
>are they just choice simulators
>>379276757
Back to the future was their last game with actual gameplay. Then they made jurassic park which is a qte fest or something and walking dead which is the same but with "choices".
>>379276295
played Tales from the Borderlands recently and it was one of the best experience I ever had in gaming (great story and characters)
but it doesn't have "actual" gameplay, you do get to make choices for dialogue and some decisions though
>>379277191
Give it a rest, Randy. We know it's you.
>>379276295
wolf among us was pretty good
>do they have actual gameplay or are they just choice simulators?
Neither.
>>379276295
TWD season 1, TWAU, and TFTBL are the best ones in the line-up. Never played GoT. Season 2 of TWD is shit. Season 3 is even worse.
>>379276295
Most of them are bad. Walking dead 1 is good. Walking dead is not as good as 1 but enjoyable. The wolf among us is nice as well.
The rest are shitty so don't buy them all
>>379276295
They're really more interactive stories. The only gameplay is quick time events and some difficult decision making that're usually on the clock. And at $6ish each, yeah, that's a pretty good price. You can drop like 10 hours a game cleaning out the entire season and more if you want to go back and play through differently the second time.
>>379277191
Do you think they will ever do point&click games again?
>>379277265
>>379277478
people spotted who didn't play them
if you don't like Borderlands and think you have to dislike TftB as well because of it you are going down a wrong part, the writing is completely different
>>379277469
You're never going to go back to playing these.
>>379277610
Randy, baby, please stahp.
>>379277469
>And at $6ish each, yeah, that's a pretty good price
How can it be a good price when you can get the same experience wayching a youtbe lp for free?
A better experience in fact since there's no QTEs and "OH SHIT YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO TOUCH THE CONTROLLER FOR 10 MINUTES, QUICK, PRESS A BUTTON FOR NO REASON TO FLIP THIS SWITCH"
>>379276295
GoT sucks, TftB,TWAU and TWD season 1 are good, TWD Season 2 is ok
>>379278256
u wot m8
>>379277678
>You're never going to go back to playing these.
I did though. My first Walking Dead playthrough I tried to play Lee as morally as I could. Then I went back and just sided with Kenny about everything, total bro mode.
On the Wolf Among Us, I made some incorrect assumptions about the Woodsman and ended up missing the opportunity to save that Prince entirely along with some other missteps and so went back and played it through with all the benefits of 20/20 hindsight.
And Game of Thrones is MUCH better the second playthrough once you realize you're fucked either way. You don't have to sit there trying to gauge whether you should suck shit for the benefit of your family or act prideful because whatever's going to happen is going to happen either way.

>Why buy any game if you can just watch a Let's Play video!?
I hate your fucking generation.
>Go to YouTube
>Search "The Wolf Among Us Episode 1 No Commentary"
>Watch
>Get the exact same experience everyone else who played it did

>>Why buy any game if you can just watch a Let's Play video!?
>I hate your fucking generation.
Because they might have good gameplay retard
>>379277693
>How can it be a good price when you can get the same experience wayching a youtbe lp for free?
You are everything wrong with the world.
>>379278886
>Get the exact same experience everyone else who played it did
>implying that watching a game is the same thing as playing it
Get a load of this faggot.
>>379276295
People on this site don't know how to evaluate objectively.
If you want to chill and enjoy an interactive tv show, buy them.
>>379278886
You're probably retarded, but I'll still reply. What you're saying is not true. You can watch as many videos as you want, it'll always be a shittier experience, then actually playing the game yourself.
Are you poor or something?
>>379279923
well good thing Telltale's titles aren't games
>>379278714
>>379279923
Normally I'd agree with your comment, but considering these things stress the definition of game, and all you're generally doing is pressing the play more scenes button, the youtube suggestion sort of applies here.
>>379280148
>People on this site don't know how to evaluate objectively.
That's because you can't evaluate objectively unless you're doing hard science, and even then you're going to prefer some methods to others. Especially not videogames, at all. Your personal bias will always play a card.
>>379277606
I doubt they even could, a lot of people that were there years ago have left since then. Like even the writers for walking dead season 1 have left.
