Is there actually anything: any peace of news, interview, footage, anything that would not make this game look dull as fucking fuck?
I mean: I've heard some people declaring that it's supposed to be the spiritual sequel to Bloodlines, but A) the same was claimed about DARK and we all remember how that ended (actually, I think most people are too young to remember DARK), and B) the thing that made Bloodlines so damn good was the humor, writing, self-conscious embracing of clichés, the sense of irony and general joyfulness. This looks so god damn dull and serious and straight-faced. Who takes these kinds of stories seriously anymore?

Dontnod has yet to produce a good game and have shown no indication that they ever will.

Vampires have been ruined as a concept by Twilight.

The idea peaked with Vampire Hunter D then rapidly fell into a pit of cliches and romance from which it never climbed out of.

I'm happy it's a 19th century gothic setting but just once can't we get to play as a vampire HUNTER with no added bullshit? Just once I'd like to see this game where you have to use your noggin to hunt down the monsters admist an urban sprawl and use all the tricks and tools of the trade to take them out instead of bumrushing them like a retard.

I like Dontnod, they're one of my favorite underdog devs so I hope this one is decent since I don't think they can afford another flop like Remember Me. But then again, Spiders has been shitting out flop after flop and they seem to be doing alright.

I like Dontnot as well. I think long-term they'll be fine on a purely financial level, but if this doesn't work out, they might stop trying new things and just churn out more stuff in the style of Life is Strange for safe money.
