Now that Tekken 7 released, how soon can we expect Soul Calibur 6?

Soulcalibur stopped being good after 3 imo (some will go so far as saying 2 was the last good one). I feel that the quality of the game and story decreased as it became more anime-ish. The characters and story went from being intriguing to stagnant, just like Tekken. The only reason some people even care about SC anymore is because of muh guest characters which show just how much the core game has lost value among the community.

To add on to my post, I feel that their best bet for the franchise would be to just reboot it. SCV ruined the story and roster too much and Soul Edge / Blade would be amazing with a modern day overhaul and updates. Maybe then Namco can try to focus on where they can go with the franchise with a clean start.

I bought Tekken 7 on day 1, but Soul Calibur will always be my shit.
I'd guess that either the anniversary this December or roughly a year from now when all of Tekkens Dlc has dropped we should expect some type of news about the next entry.

SCIV was designed by Namco to be the last one, but then a petition convinced them to make another one.

I really can't stand how screwed over SC canon is with SC5. All these new knock-off characters, and only some of the old cast actually aged, while others like Ivy get the Immortal excuse...

Actually, it's a shared universe. Several characters crossed over. Of the top of my head, i know for a fact that Yoshimitsu is in both games, and Zasalamel has some scenes in the time of Tekken.
