Wasn't that a re-release done a couple years later, fit with both the MS-DOS and Macintosh port as well as a later patch? I distinctly remember the game being made for floppies.
Heck, who owned a CD driver in mid 1994? Playstation came after WC and that is well known as the first affordable CD drive on the market.
